Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service between Speech Revolutions LLC and Customer. If this AUP conflicts with the Terms of Service, this AUP controls. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, this AUP is effective as of the Terms effective date and remains in effect until the Terms expire or terminate.

In this AUP, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Speech Revolutions. Depending on context, "you," "your," "Customer," or "User" refers to the party using our Services. The words "include," "includes," and "including" mean without limitation. The word "or" is not exclusive.

By using or accessing our Services, you accept this AUP. We may update this AUP from time to time. Non-material changes take effect on the posted date. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes in advance. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

1. Definitions

1.1 "AI Technology" means machine learning, deep learning, and other artificial intelligence technologies, including statistical models, neural networks, and related software or hardware capable of generating content (including text, audio, or structured data) from user-supplied inputs.

1.2 "Applicable Law" has the meaning used in the Terms of Service.

1.3 "EU AI Act" means Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 and related guidance, as amended.

1.4 "Input," "Output," "Platform," and "Services" have the meanings used in the Terms of Service.

1.5 "Service Uses" means any use of the Services; submission, upload, or input of any Input; or use of Output.

2. Prohibited Uses

2.1 Unlawful Purposes

You may not engage in Service Uses that:

• violate or promote violation of Applicable Law;
• conflict with this AUP, including prohibited Inputs or Outputs;
• build AI Technology using the Platform in violation of this AUP; or
• could cause the Platform or integrated systems to be classified as a high-risk AI system under Applicable Law, including under the EU AI Act.

2.2 Trafficking, Solicitation, Violence, and Child Safety

You may not use the Services in ways that compromise child safety, including exploiting or harming children, distributing child sexual abuse material, facilitating trafficking, sextortion, grooming, or abuse, exposing children to inappropriate content, collecting children's personal information without proper consent, or promoting exploitation or abuse of children.

You may not engage in or promote human trafficking, sexual solicitation, exploitation, or related violence.

2.3 Technical Restrictions

You may not engage in Service Uses that:

• attempt unauthorized access or interfere with, damage, or disrupt the Services or related systems;
• violate or facilitate violation of the security, integrity, or availability of the Services or related systems;
• introduce viruses, malware, worms, or other harmful code through or into the Services; or
• circumvent safeguards intended to limit violations of Applicable Law or this AUP without our express authorization.

2.4 Discrimination, Harassment, and Hateful Behavior

You may not engage in Service Uses that promote unlawful harassment, discrimination, violence, terrorism, abuse, bullying, threats, intimidation, or hateful behavior or content.

You may not unlawfully discriminate in providing or denying education, employment, credit, healthcare, housing, insurance, or other essential goods or services based on protected characteristics under Applicable Law.

2.5 Privacy and Identity

You may not engage in Service Uses that compromise legal rights of publicity or privacy, including:

• collecting or sharing personal information without required disclosures and consent;
• conducting unlawful monitoring or surveillance;
• using digital replicas without required consent and authorization;
• impersonating any person without authorization or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation; or
• creating the impression that content is endorsed by us when it is not.

2.6 Weapons and Critical Infrastructure

You may not develop, market, or distribute weapons, explosives, or dangerous, illegal, or controlled substances or materials through the Services.

You may not disrupt critical infrastructure such as power, water, gas, nuclear facilities, traffic control, emergency services, or telecommunications.

2.7 Abuse, Fraud, Deceit, and Misinformation

You may not use the Services to intentionally deceive or defraud others, including to:

• impersonate others without authorization;
• represent Output as human-generated where prohibited;
• engage in academic dishonesty or plagiarism;
• distribute spam; or
• distribute misinformation or disinformation.

You may not exploit vulnerabilities of individuals or groups to materially distort behavior in ways likely to cause significant harm.

2.8 Political Interference

You may not use the Services for political campaigning or lobbying intended to disrupt or interfere with electoral processes.

2.9 Law Enforcement, Surveillance, and Categorization

You may not use the Services to promote or facilitate:

• criminal risk scoring of individuals except to support human assessment based on verifiable facts;
• categorizing individuals from biometric data or inferring protected characteristics except as permitted by Applicable Law;
• real-time remote biometric identification in public spaces for law enforcement except as permitted by Applicable Law; or
• social scoring that causes disproportionate or unrelated detrimental treatment.

2.10 Automated Decision-Making

You may not use the Services to:

• materially distort behavior in ways likely to cause significant harm;
• make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without required disclosures, opt-out rights, human review, and compliance with Applicable Law; or
• generate legal, financial, health, medical, tax, or other professional advice without disclosing use of AI Technology.

2.11 Sexually Explicit Content

You may not use the Services to:

• depict or request sexual acts;
• generate sexual fetish or fantasy content;
• facilitate incest or bestiality; or
• conduct erotic chats.

3. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor use of the Services to evaluate compliance with this AUP and investigate suspected violations. Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms of Service. In addition to our rights under the Terms, if we reasonably determine you violated this AUP, we may:

• terminate or suspend access to all or part of the Services;
• take appropriate legal action, including referral to law enforcement; or
• report child safety violations to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and relevant authorities.

We may cooperate with law enforcement or court orders requesting disclosure of information about users of the Services.

You waive and hold harmless speech revolutions from claims arising from actions taken during or as a consequence of investigations by us or law enforcement or other authorities.
