# Speech Revolutions — batch speech-to-text API

Speech Revolutions is a batch speech-to-text API. Upload recorded audio or video and get back a
transcript with speaker labels (diarization) and word-level timestamps, as JSON, TXT, SRT, VTT,
DOCX or PDF. Language is detected automatically across 99+ languages, including switches
mid-file. About 60,000 hours of audio a month run through it in production.

- Pooled across AMI-SDM, NotSoFar and DiPCo: Speech Revolutions 16.7%, AssemblyAI 24.6%, ElevenLabs 29.7%, Deepgram 35%, Soniox 36.2%.

## Start

1. Create an account and an API key at https://console.speechrevolutions.com (self-serve).
2. `pip install speechrevolutions` (also npm, Go, NuGet).
3. Call it:
